The method (10 minutes)

Step 1: Lay out everything (2 minutes)

Step 2: Roll, don’t fold (5 minutes)

Step 3: Compression cubes (2 minutes)

Step 4: Tetris the suitcase (1 minute)

The 7-day carry-on list

  • 5 t-shirts
  • 2 long-sleeve shirts
  • 1 sweater or hoodie
  • 1 pair of jeans
  • 2 pairs of shorts
  • 5 pairs of underwear
  • 5 pairs of socks
  • 1 swimsuit
  • 1 light jacket
  • Toiletries (under 100ml for carry-on)

This fits in a standard 22″ carry-on with room to spare.

Common packing mistakes

  • Bringing too many shoes (1 pair + flip-flops is enough)
